Sunday Stills #12



Where I sit... It's quite often in the seat of a vehicle looking through a windshield. I like driving. Good thing, because I drive a lot. I have a long commute to and from work, plus I'm on the go a lot during weekends. The view from where I seat is filled with beautiful sunshine, fiery storms, and ribbons of roadways that connect me with my favourite destinations. Not a perfect picture, but filled so much meaning.

    Well I think your photo perfectly captures where you sit, and why. When I lived in the city, driving out in the country was my "escape". I still enjoy driving roads less travels and the vistas it provides.

I know I'm a day late on this one and frankly I wasn't sure I'd have one for this week, but I didn't want to miss a week so I went back into the camera roll to find this one.   It's not the best picture of my dog Finn, but his eyes tell the story here.   I don't remember what was in the bowl, but he wanted some. Sunday Stills #2

  When I was aiming my phone at random things for week number one, I was at one of my favourite hardware type stores when I saw these mini cement mixers.   I don't need one, but I thought they were cool and I loved the colour of them.   I wasn't sure they were right for the first week's challenge, but when I saw that week #2 was "favourite colour",  I was pretty sure I'd use it.   And while I don't usually take something in portrait, I like the way they were lined up.   Taken on an LG G7 ThinQ.
