Sunday Stills #17 - Black and White

Image
This isn't actually a black and white photograph. It was taken on a night with a full moon, but it was so foggy, the light from the moon was totally dispersed and it was a very bright night.   Everything had a shadow that night and when I walked past this little well building, the outline of it looked like something out of an old horror film.   It's not the clearest pic and the moon was way oversaturated, but I still like the vibe I got from it.

Sunday Stills #16 - Abstract

Image
Overexposed and a little out of focus, sometimes a mistake turns out to be something cool.   What was attempting to be the side of a building, turned out looking like a smoky sideways version of guitar hero to me.

Sunday Stills #15 - Summer

Image
To me, the patchwork of colour that is the prairies says summer more than anything.   This field of sunflowers is on my drive to and from work and this time of year, the sun hits them perfectly and they face me regardless which way I'm driving.   "Nothing else to worry about when My Sunshine and her flowers are here" (paraphrasing something I read once).

Sunday Stills #14 - Numbers

Image
My mixer in my studio at work.  Even though I produce audio, numbers are everywhere.   From setting input levels to the final mastering, I'm doing math all day and as you can see, there's no shortage of numbers on my trusty mixer.

Sunday Stills #13

For the better part of the last 12 years, whenever I look down, there's a good chance Mr. Finnegan is at my feet. It's been a tough year health wise for him and our walks are getting shorter, but I don't think there is happier pup on the planet.
