Sunday Stills #27 - Glass

Image
I'll admit, there's been a few Sunday Stills of mine that maybe haven't been quite be on subject and I was stuck for an idea for this week's challenge, so I may have been reaching a bit with this pic too.

Sunday Stills #26 - Light

Image
I was trying to take a picture of a sunset that had a couple of straight lines lighting up the sky and I simply pressed the burst shot mode and just as I did a semi drove through the picture.  So not only did I get several pics of this amazing sunset, I also got some cool shots (and eventually) a gif of the semi.   Not too get too deep here, but I'm not sure what I believe, but when you see incredible beauty in sunsets and nature, it's easy to think someone or something is putting on a show for us.

Sunday Stills #24 - A Bug's Eye View

A late summer sunset from a buggy perspective. Taken on a LG G7 ThinQ in full auto.

Sunday Stills #23 - Cats / Kittens

I was the announcer for barrel racing district finals a couple of years ago and I had a bit of a wait between the race and the awards presentation.   I was hanging out on a picnic table at my friends' place, next door to the arena and was joined by a furry friend fascinated by my fingers over the edge of the picnic table.   I'm sure she got me a few times.

Sunday Stills #22 - Eye(s)

Image
I know I'm a day late on this one and frankly I wasn't sure I'd have one for this week, but I didn't want to miss a week so I went back into the camera roll to find this one.   It's not the best picture of my dog Finn, but his eyes tell the story here.   I don't remember what was in the bowl, but he wanted some. Talk about focus.

Sunday Stills #21 - Evening

Image
I spend a lot of my week driving and this time of year, it starts to move into darkness during my trips.  Right now, I get to revel in the light given to me by the sunrises and sunsets, but I also get a little melancholy knowing that I'll be in full darkness soon - coming and going from work.  I also wanted to (safely) capture a sunset in my rear view as my light is behind me to the west.
